Brett Zamore, AIA

Brett Zamore, AIA, is a founding principal of brettZAMOREDESIGN which was established in 2007. He is a licensed architect in the State of Texas and LEED®AP. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in New Haven, CT and a Master of Architecture from Rice University School of Architecture in Houston, TX. Brett’s previous experience was with Michael Maltzan Architecture in Los Angeles, CA and Carlos Jimenez Studio in Houston, TX where he worked primarily on Institutional and residential. Brett loves travel, skiing, music, good food and friends and spending time with his wife, 3 boys and Pup.

Tzu-Yu Chen

Tzu-Yu Chen, joined bZD in 2010 and is a licensed architect in the State of Texas. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan and her Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, TX. During her time at Rice, Tzu-Yu spent 6 months in Paris, France. Her travels cover Northern Asia, Western Europe and North America. Her native language is Mandarin and she is fluent in English and has comprehension in French. Outside of the office, she has a love for painting, crafting, playing piano and bass.

Dani Heider

Dani joined bZD in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and spent 6 months at the University of Hannover, Germany as part of an independent study. Following eight years of working commercially, and raising a family, she earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Houston. She’s a dedicated runner, adventure-seeker, and enjoys camping with her husband and 3 girls at our incredible National Parks.
