823 Peddie Street

The updated bungalow and addition in Houston Heights is a merging of the old and the new. Two phases over a 4 year span make up the project: a renovation of a 1,375 sq. ft., 1926 historic bungalow and a 965 sq. ft. addition. The existing home’s central dividing wall is the only original remaining wall that separates the 2 sides of the old house to take on the role of defining public and private. The addition literally wraps an existing 100-year native Pecan that adds needed shade and comfort.
