Staff
Brett Zamore, AIA
Brett Zamore, AIA, is a founding principal of brettZAMOREDESIGN which was established in 2007. He is a licensed architect in the State of Texas and LEED®AP. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in New Haven, CT and a Master of Architecture from Rice University School of Architecture in Houston, TX. Brett’s previous experience was with Michael Maltzan Architecture in Los Angeles, CA and Carlos Jimenez Studio in Houston, TX where he worked primarily on Institutional and residential. Brett loves travel, skiing, music, good food and friends and spending time with his wife, 3 boys and Pup.
Tzu-Yu Chen
Tzu-Yu Chen, joined bZD in 2010 and is a licensed architect in the State of Texas. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan and her Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, TX. During her time at Rice, Tzu-Yu spent 6 months in Paris, France. Her travels cover Northern Asia, Western Europe and North America. Her native language is Mandarin and she is fluent in English and has comprehension in French. Outside of the office, she has a love for painting, crafting, playing piano and bass.
Jae Boggess
Jae joined bZD in February 2016 and is a licensed architect in the State of Texas. She received her Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, TX and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in Williamstown, MA. Before returning to her native Houston to study architecture, Jae enjoyed living and working in multiple locations including Paris, London, Dublin, New York City and Nantucket, MA. Outside the office, she loves exploring new places and documenting her adventures with her 35mm Minolta camera. Jae is currently supporting the office from San Antonio.
Gina Rodriguez
Gina joined bZD in November 2021. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, TX. During her time at Rice, Gina spent a semester in Paris and interned in New York City. Before returning to her hometown of Houston, Gina enjoyed living and working in NYC for several years, practicing in the retail industry. She has worked independently on residential and renovation projects and is also fluent in Spanish. Outside the office, she loves finding new places to eat and going to the park with her pup.
Gabriel Gomes Raymundo
Gabriel, joined bZD in January 2024. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Catholic University of Rio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and his Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, TX. Before joining bZD He worked as a designer for offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Rotterdam, Netherlands. His native language is Portuguese and he is fluent in English and has comprehension in Spanish. Outside of the office, he has a passion for Formula 1 racing, hiking, camping and playing sports.
