bZD is the architect for three  buildings at the BMX Greenspoint Bike Park, master planned by The Office of James Burnett. The site is located in a flood plain in North Houston. The architecture harnesses a love for speed and creativity in motion through a modest palette of materials and a simplicity in design. These characteristics are carried from one building to the other and act as a backdrop immersed in the fabric of the park rather than a means to overpower the spectacle. A tight budget and time frame were critical factors in the design approach and process.
