Creekland Activity Center

The Prairieland and Creekland park activity centers and additional structures and structures should be singular in character and inviting to visitors yet connect harmoniously with the landscape of each park. The buildings and structures will be an indispensable destination that offer views throughout the park and harness a love for activities. The architecture must respond in innovative ways while respecting its role within the greater context of the surrounding park, habitat, and communities. Technology will play a critical role in the design of the buildings with respect to building systems: lighting (natural and artificial), building envelope, climate and moisture control, fire protection, and security. It is critical that these systems reflect a high degree of sophistication and functionality, being fully integrated but visible only where necessary.
