The project is a one-story addition with partial renovation to a two-story historic 1923 Brooke Smith bungalow. The addition opens and increases the public living area yet allows for formality of each of its program. A large living room with centrally placed brick fireplace increases the footprint of the renovated kitchen and dining. A screened porch extends the living space outward bringing exterior to the interior. The porch filters the natural southern light and pulls in southern breezes.
